What is companion care? Companion care is a non-medical service that provides companionship, emotional support, light assistance with daily activities, and socialization to help seniors stay engaged and independent at home.
How does companion care differ from home health care or skilled nursing? Companion care focuses on non-medical support (companionship, errands, light housekeeping). Home health care and skilled nursing involve licensed medical professionals providing clinical care such as wound care, injections, or therapy.
Who can benefit from our services? Seniors who want to age in place, families needing reliable respite, individuals recovering from illness or surgery, or anyone requiring assistance with daily living while remaining at home.
Are your caregivers certified? Yes. All caregivers are licensed, trained, background-checked, and experienced professionals.
Do you provide 24/7 support? We offer 24/7 availability for guidance and urgent assistance. Regular care hours are scheduled according to your plan.
What areas do you serve? We primarily serve the Greater Pittsburgh area and surrounding communities in Pennsylvania.
How quickly can care start? Many clients begin care within a few days after the initial assessment and matching process. Urgent needs can often be accommodated faster.
Can I change or cancel services? Yes. We offer flexible scheduling. Please contact us as early as possible to adjust or cancel scheduled visits.
